Baoku is a professionally- trained, African performing artist and an Afrobeat songwriter and band leader. Baoku got his start as a drummer and dancer in his home country of Nigeria. Since moving to the United States in 2002, Baoku has recorded an album (Okodoro Oro: “The Realistic Reality” – 2004), started a band (The Image Afro-beat Band – 2005) and founded a performing arts company (Positive Image Arts – 2011). Baoku Moses’s charismatic personality and dynamic performance style is a sure winner with any audience.
