Baoku Moses, in following the legacy and footsteps of his mentor, the late Afro-beat legend Fela Kuti, blends big-band jazz fusion with African instruments and languages to express world peace and unity. For one, the music integrates more African drums such as the Nigerian bata, the talking drum, the djembe, and the Senegalese bottom drums.
